"Indiana Jones" Making Cannes Premiere

From darkhorizons, ox News reports that Spielberg's representatives trying to secure "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal" as the opening film of this year's Cannes Film Festival which starts May 15th.

This would mark the worldwide premiere of the adventure sequel and the whole cast and crew would make an appearance on the red carpet at Cannes's Palais.

Word has it that Paramount is also not planning any press screenings or junkets from the film, making that the first and only public screening of the film before its May 22nd 2008 release.
