From worstpreviews, The trailer for the upcoming third installment in the "Starship Troopers" franchise has been released. While the effects are not spectacular, it is still done in a recruitment style and features lots of bugs being killed.
In the movie, entitled "Starship Troopers 3: Marauder," Casper Van Dien is back to reprise his role as Johnny Rico, who is now a general and is forced to return to the military to fight the big bugs.
The new $20 million film is written and directed by Edward Neumeier, who will be making his helming debut, but has previously written scripts for "Robocop" and the original "Starship Troopers." Similar to the terrible sequel, "Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation," the third installment will go directly to DVD.
