Selick And Gaiman's Stop-Motion Coraline Trailer

From cinemablend, The first trailer for Coraline, Henry Selick’s collaboration with Neil Gaiman is online! It’s based on a children’s book by Gaiman about a young girl who walks through a door in her new home, and winds up in an alternate version of her life. Everything seems to be even better than her current life, but things get creepy when the new family tries to keep her.

More importantly, it’s a 3D, stop-motion movie and it looks glorious… except for the trailer’s final sentence. If there’s a more cliché way to end a trailer than with “some doors should never be opened”, then I can’t think of it. Check out the trailer here and watch for the movie in theaters February 9th of next year.
