Company Specializes In LEGO Weaponry

From geekology, Brickarms is a company that specialized in custom LEGO weapons and minifigs. This picture is of all their regular weapons, sold as the 'Ultra Arsenal' Weapons Pack for $18. It includes the following:

* M1911 .45 Pistol * M23 Pistol * M23 SOCOM Pistol * PPK Spy Pistol * PPK Tactical Spy Pistol * M1A1 SMG * M4 Carbine * AK Assault Rifle * RPG Rocket Grenade * M67 Frag Grenades * M41A Pulse Rifle * Micro Uzi SMG * C96 Mauser 'Broomhandle' * SW500 Magnum Pistol * MP5 SMG * PSG1 Sniper Rifle * M47 Shotgun * M47 Tactical Shotgun * G36 Assault Rifle * MP40 SMG * M24 Steilhandgranate

If you don't need all of those then you can buy the guns individually for $1 apiece. There are also some other custom weapons and minifigs available. Be sure to check them out if you dig military themed LEGO. Unfortunately, according to the website:

Disclaimer: All BrickArms tiny toy weapons are made of solid ABS plastic, designed to be used with Lego toys. They cannot shoot bullets and cannot be made to fire bullets in any way. Again, they are a TOY! T-O-Y Toyee!
Shit, I need to learn to read before buying stuff online. Oh well, I stole the money from my wife anyway. And by I stole the money from my wife I mean I sold one of her kidneys on the black market.

As a weapons guy, and no expert on LEGOs, I have a question about this group. They are basically 3 weapons groups in the mix here.
NATO present day, "Rebel/Insurgent", and Nazi era. Who the hell is playing with LEGOs these days?!
Are there really Nazi lego men? What LEGO set contains the guys who use the rocket launchers and AK's? A little help here Octo/JPX....

Gosh, I'm not sure what to mention first.

I guess I'll start by letting Miko and any other interested parties that you can click here to check out the Brickarms site, where you'll see a number of combo packages, some of them based on the categories you mention (click on "Custom," "Minifig, Weapon" or "Black" in the column on the left). If you look carefully in the photo on the homepage, you can see at least one customized Nazi Lego minifig. All it takes is a sticker...

Next I'll direct your attention to the M41A Pulse Rifle which is in the upper-right corner of the post pic, just below the shotgun with scope. That gun comes from none of the aforementioned categories, as it was made up for the movie Aliens. Pretty cool, that.

Finally I'll direct your attention to Jeff & Jeff's Pandemonium, the toy-related blog maintained by myself and JPX. Specifically, if you click here you can see how I posted on this phenomenon almost a whole year ago. This post is good for two reasons: there's another, better picture of the pulse rifle in case you weren't sure which gun I was talking about, and now I get to hold this over JPX's head if he complains that I'm not giving the blog enough attention. Psych!

Dude, there IS totally a little LEGO terrorist dude carrying the AK with the rocket launcher strapped to his back on the Brickarms site! Plus a SS Nazi looking dude.
Do the LEGO people make those little dudes or are they customized by enthusiasts?

(I need to let you all know I avoided my "geekdom" in these posts. I am the guy that watches action movies and says "Yeah, I've shot that." and "That's not the way you reload that!" I avoided listing which little plastic weapons I've used the real versions of.....And JPX gunshows ARE totally like Wondercon, until you get stuck talking to the survivalist dude waiting for the UN's black helicopters)

Wow, Miko, I won't be picking any fights with you on the blog.

Julie, fight away. I just got my own little nerd-thing going on like everybody else (albeit a little louder then the others).

Happy Halloween everybody! Julie's working late and the boy doesn't have school tomorrow so he's heading to one of those crazy f...
