Fun at Cannes

This is cool. Teams of young filmmakers from all over the world competing to make documentaries while at the Cannes Film Festival. My friend's son Glenn just graduated in Film Studies and is on Team Odyssey. If you get a sec, check out the site and leave a little postcard for the team--I guess they win Adobe software if they get the most postcards.

Plus, some of the girls on his team are cuties.

I was an exchange student when I was 16 years old and I spent some time in Cannes. It's a beautiful area. I had just missed the film festival. I saw a lot of boobs.

Btw, Horrorthoners will get a kick out of this. Glenn (the kid at the festival) has been interested in film since high school. Somehow, he got into an email exchange when he was like 16 with the dude who made Coven, the guy from American Movie. Glenn and a friend ended up going to help the guy move, I think out of or into his grandmother's house.

Hey Landshark, remember when your grandmother was moving out of her house and one of the movers found a gun and she sold it to him for five bucks? True story.

But here's some context.

-- Said grandmother's late husband was a cop, hence the gun.

-- One of said grandmother's sons is also a cop, and went and got the gun back when he heard this story.

-- Landshark and I are stepbrothers, so said grandmother is kinda mine, too.

I nosed around on the site a little yesterday, but I haven't sent those guys a postcard yet. Of course, sending a postcard to someone already in a land of beauty and boobs seems like a waste of their eyeball-time.
