Form AICN, "Here's a clearer image of the city from "Wink of an Eye", which airs this weekend. Note the "V" shaped building in mid ground/screen right. It appeared in the episode's original iteration, and was actually a reused design...having originated on another planet's cityscape in an episode called "A Taste of Armageddon".
I'm totally jazzed about the feel of this image; it's modern enough to not seem quaint, but retro enough to feel at place in classic TREK. Very nice!
In yesterday's Talkbacks, several readers said they were having trouble locating remastered TREK airings.
If you own an XBOX 360, you can download many remastered episodes...in HIGH DEFINITION no less...from XBOX Live. They're a little behind posting the most recent remasters, but keep checking back because the eps are slowly trickling in.
I'm told another avenue would be to grab them via iTunes -- I haven't been able to do this yet as my computer & iTunes are, apparently, not getting along at the moment."

I'll admit it, that image looks great. I like that it's a scrubby fall day instead of a perfect CA day, which I say bitterly because it's freezing here.
