Best show on television renewed for 4th season

From syfyportal, "In a move about as surprising as Rosie O'Donnell's coming out, ABC has picked up "Lost" for a fourth season despite how much the series has struggled in the ratings this season.

"Lost" was among nearly a dozen shows ABC decided to renew, many of which were originally on the bubble. Also making the cut for a fourth season was "Boston Legal," the series that stars Star Trek alums William Shatner and Rene Auberjonois.
When "Lost" first premiered, it helped propel ABC to one of television's top networks, along with "Desperate Housewives." But while the show does not have the same popular appeal it once did, the ratings have remained acceptable despite poor lead-in shows and what many critics and analysts are calling a bad timeslot.
Speaking of timeslot, it's not clear whether ABC will keep "Lost" Wednesdays at 10 p.m., or if the network will flip the schedule around a little. However, with the return of some 15 shows already, there isn't a lot of room for new shows to enter the schedule which means it will not be a good pilot season for those still trying to pitch ABC."

I no longer think Lost is the best show on television. I now think Battlestar Galactica is the best show on television.

Lost better get their act together fast...
