From Darkhorizons, "Yesterday rumours started swirling that Daniel Radcliffe, the titular "Harry Potter" star who's drawing raves and controversy for his work on the stage in "Equus" right now, had signed definitive deals to appear in the final two "Harry Potter" films.
The question has been floating around for a while, many fans concerned the three child stars would bow out before the series end in the seventh film due Summer 2010. It was also generally assumed that if they'd signed onboard for the sixth film that they'd join for the seventh as well.
Today DanRadcliffe.co.uk has received confirmation from Dan's publicist that he will in fact be returning to finish out the series and will play Harry in both "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" which begins filming in September, and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" which shoots in 2009.Dan may be onboard but what about the others? Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) has previously stated he wants to finish the series out as well, whilst Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) says she "would not rule out or specifically confirm her ongoing role" in an interview last September."

Well, that's a good idea. I recall a lot of people saying the kids would grow up too fast and it would be weird, but I don't think there's been a faster movie series produced than these HP flicks. If they don't use Emma and Rupert for 6 and 7, then they should just go nuts and cast Lindsay Lohan and Ashton Kutcher.
