Horrible movie alert
From cinemablend, This fall, Jason Lee cashes in all the audience respect and loyalty he’s built up over the years by starring in the new, CGI’d version of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Come on, you remember them. They’re the singing rat eunuchs. Jason stars in the movie as their “father” Dave Seville, and as if it’s not bad enough that he’s humiliating his fans by actually being in the movie, he’s all over the movie’s marketing materials too. Impawards has a first look at the movie’s poster, and Jason’s head looms over the rather poorly animated, hip-hopped up rodent brothers. I guess that means that this time we’ll have to put up with a chipmunks rap. Isn’t this the kind of role Breckin Meyer should have gotten? Is it too late for Lee to back out? Just think, he could have been doing Fletch right now instead. See Jason Lee do his best impression of “The Rock” in the big sized poster over at Impawards.

Ouch. This poster is deeply troubling, as is the potential chipmunk rap. I've always maintained that the worst thing about Christmas is that awful chipmunk song. I'll give you a hula hoop upside the head, you little shit.
I don't know how I could go on knowing that there is a more "proactive" or "in your face" version of these rodents in the works. And what's with Jason Lee raising his eyebrow at us? Your fans are the ones raising their eyebrows.
No, no, no, this just isn't right at all....
It's as if Mr. Lee is taunting us, "Yeah that's right, I'm in this movie, want to fight about it?"
I just read that Jason Lee is a Scientologist. So that explains that.
Ah, mystery solved.
Ugh, that is so disappointing! On so many levels.
1. That they even made this movie about those horrible creatures.
2. That Jason Lee is in it.
3. That Jason Lee is a Scientologist. Ack!
