Parents Television Council objects to 'Family Guy'

From usatoday, The Parents Television Council always has something to be upset about. But the most recent Family Guy episode (that aired Sunday, March 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. in Central and Mountain Time zones) really riled the group. The PTC is filing an indecency complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and encouraging its members to do the same.

Why? Because the animated Fox program, says the PTC in a release, "treated viewers to everything from an ‘eleven-way’ gay orgy to baby Stewie eating a bowl of cereal with horse sperm instead of milk." Notes PTC President Tim Winter: "The fact that Fox would have us believe this is appropriate for a 14-year-old, based on the show’s program rating, is laughable.”

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane said in an interview last year that the PTC is "rotten to the core."
