i read it when i was in new york in 1999. sad story. his brother did a funny thing when he got around to writing his memoirs. he pretty much led off with, childhood in ireland sucked, so let's just skip all of that sad shit and go straight to the funny stuff that happened when i moved here. amusing counterpoint, the two books.

Yeah JPX, what's the deal? That was a great book about overcoming adversity and what not but since then all he did was buy a baseball team, right?
