Haiku Hump Day - The Simpsons!
Trevor (Tami's friend) made an interesting observation yesterday about transforming from Bart to Homer during the 20 year span of the series. So I thought now would be a damn good time to celebrate the first family of cartoon animation on HHD. Whether or not you still watch religiously, the Simpsons must have made you laugh during the past 2 decades. Now it's time to return the favor by making ME laugh, using 17 syllables.

Seasons 4 through 8
1st season's no good
Homer's voice is annoying
No laughs to be found
My biggest complaint
Any time that Lisa sings
It drives me mental
Barnie gave up booze
I came close to boycotting
Glad I hung in there
My favorite line,
"The goggles, they do nothing"

I hate the clip shows
Who sits and watches old clips?
Okay, yes, I do
The earliest shows
Were just Tracey Ullman shorts
They were pretty lame
The best episodes
Only focus on Homer
The worst ones? Lisa.

Inversely proportional
With Skinner's voice pitch
Another pinpoint

Best of Comic Guy:
"Yes, and one with extra cheese,"
"The answer is 'fries'"
The law-talkin guy
Lionel Hutz was brilliant
May he rest in peace
Reduced to tears by
6-foot sandwich/Duff Gardens
and Mr. Sparkle
Linda Ronstadt sang
"Senor Plow no es macho"
Her shining moment
Sigh, "Do the Bart Man"
Written by Michael Jackson
Not his best moment
Come to think of it
"Lisa, it's Your Birthday" stunk
Also by Jackson

$400,000 per show
Who says talk is cheap?
Poor Nancy Cartwright
Twilight Zone death. Got Bart role.
Not poor anymore
High Homer - VP
Friendlier, raking in dough
We should all be high!

Flintstones were better

All those goddamn rakes
Or maybe Bobo
Maggie tug-o-war, beats Burns
Newsman says "hot scoop!"
Or perhaps "Streetcar!"

The night that first aired
"Coming up next" showed that clip
