Want to see 7 minutes of Spider-Man 3?

From worstpreviews, "An extended clip for the upcoming third installment of "Spider-Man 3," that aired during NBC's "Heroes," is now available online. The clip was offered in HD and was about a 300mb download. Anyone that doesn't feel like sitting around for an hour downloading, click on the link below to see a small version. Or click here to check for the HD ones.

The clip is set up with Peter (Tobey Maguire) wanting to marry Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). When he breaks the news to Aunt May, she gives him a ring very special to her. Later Peter is attacked by his buddy Harry Osbourn (James Franco), who is all dressed up in his Green Goblin outfit, and is out for blood. The fight sequence, high above the streets, is amazing. Plus the clip gives us a great view of Sandman and Venom at the end."

Spider-Man 3" hits theaters on May 4th, 2007.

Iwatchsstuff [accurately]weighs in, "Last night, NBC gave Howie Mandel a brief respite from commanding women to open briefcases to provide the geek community with over seven minutes of new footage from Spider-Man 3. It opens with scenes of Peter and Mary Jane canoodling in a web and Peter and Aunt May discussing marriage and her dead husband. This is what I refer to as the "pussy section," because enjoying this section too much means you're definitely a big puss. The proper response is to roll your eyes and mutter that you hope this is building up to something exciting. Man alive, is it! The latter half of the footage, hereafter referred to as "awesome fighting section," is exactly what it sounds like, featuring a mid-air battle between Peter Parker and Harry Osborn as whatever his x-treme sports-style derivative of the Green Goblin is.

If the above link goes down, it's available at NBC.com until 9:00 PT tonight, after which it will be available for $25 as a third-generation VHS dub from a freak at a comics convention."

Man, can I have a remote in the theater so I can ff over the "pussy section?" Aunt May is criminally boring.

The action looks good, from what I could see. But yeah, that Goblin Glider is basically a snowboard version of the Back to the Future hoverboards. Xtreeeeeeme.
