From darkhorizons, Spain's Mediapro and Gravier Prods. will produce Woody Allen's next three feature films reports Variety.
The pair worked with Allen on "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," which stars Scarlett Johansson, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz and Rebecca Hall. The Weinstein Co. will release that film this Fall.
The three projects will shoot over 2009, 2010 and 2011 and be budgeted at around $22 million each. No settings have been announced for the films, though one will be in Europe (not Spain) and another "a little bit further away."
The move comes despite the failure of Allen's most recent feature "Cassandra's Dream" which hasn't cleared $10 million domestically.

I don't care if last film sucked, I'm still excited for three new Woody Allen films.
