Being in phone contact with Jordan (or Jor-El, as I like to call my file folders that contain his stuff), I can tell you that he's had two big projects in the pipe with upcoming deadlines. One, a writing project, is still in play; the other one was just completed. It was a really complicated 3-D computer model that came out beautifully.
Each alone would be time-consuming enough to need isolation from online dialogue. When I asked Jordan why he couldn't just do a short post or a brief comment, he admitted that such efforts, for him, would lead to a lot of time checking to see if anyone had reacted. Since I do the exact same thing, checking the blog constantly, I got it.
Just let him know that we miss him next time you chat with him Octo!
