Just where does Donkey Kong take place?
50p and Octo's hilarious discussion regarding the Donkey Kong environment (see below) inspired me to take a closer look. From what I can tell Donkey Kong takes place in the world's most dangerous barrel, pie, peg, and pogo-stick factory.
For those who haven't seen it, "King of Kong" is a wonderful documentary pitting two Donkey Kong enthusiasts against one another in a high score world record competition . Check out the trailer,

I am so on board for the screenplay that starts with that.
isn't that the setting of mr. magorium's wonder emporium? as i recall, you saw the trailer for that and rejected it outright.
