The counterprotesters are freakin' hilarious:
Unbeknownst to the dastardly fanatics of the Westboro Baptist Church, the good folks of San Diego's Comic-Con were prepared for their arrival with their own special brand of superhuman counter protesting chanting "WHAT DO WE WANT" "GAY SEX" "WHEN DO WE WANT IT" "NOW!" while brandishing ironic (and some sincere) signs. Simply stated: The eclectic assembly of nerdom's finest stood and delivered.

That is utterly ridiculous. However, that is a pretty sweet Bender costume.

He's on the good side! If you check out the article, there are tons of pictures. Some of the signs are really funny. There's one that says, "God Hates Kittens!" Actually, I must edit this post to include that one.
Totally hilarious and makes me love nerds and geekdom even more! HA!
