Weekly summary for any new readers who wish to get in on the fun,
Well, gang, the past 5 days have been exciting ones for our web-head, haven't they? Borrowing and adding to JSP's recap, this is what has transpired so far,
An ominous stranger arrives in New York City, home to our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Almost immediately, because it's New York after all (and the exact same thing happened to me when I went to New York City once), a thug attempts to mug the myterious, hairy man. The mugger learns quickly that he picked the wrong target and is quickly handed his balls on a platter. Meanwhile, Peter Parker (who is really Spider-Man) walked down the street and thought about stuff. Passing by the city's newest denizen, Peter's Spidey sense warns him that danger's afoot. Both men experience a flicker of recognition but continue on their separate paths. Suddenly an out-of-control truck comes barreling down the street where a woman and her young son happen to be walking. Before Peter is able to rescue them, the mysterious stranger reacts with lightning quick relexes, and saves the helpless duo. After quietly expressing some hurt feelings about the mysterious stranger stealing his thunder, Peter suddenly remembers that the ominous new edition to his city, the guy with the retractable claws, is none other than the X-Men's Wolverine! Apparently the two have met before.
