Predator reboot might be getting a cool director

From bloodydisgusting, We just got a really, really hot tip from a 100% reliable source (who tips us off regularly) that 20th Century Fox is in close talks to lock in a director for Predators, their remake/prequel of Predator being produced by Robert Rodriguez and his Trouble Maker Studios. Who is it? Descend on inside and find out! In the reboot a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters.

I'm sure the boys over at Aint it Cool News can confirm this with Rodriguez when it's official, but Bloody-Disgusting is being told that NEIL MARSHALL is close to signing on to direct PREDATORS for 20th Century Fox. To be clear, the deal is NOT SIGNED just yet, but getting closer.

Hurray!

Neil Marshall directed one of the best horror films this decade, The Descent, along with Doomsday and popular Dog Soldiers.

20th Century Fox has this on fast track for release on July 9, 2010.

[JPX] So a lot of you are probably wondering what cousin Oliver from The Brady Bunch thinks about this, right?

I think it's swell and I promise not to jinx it

Cousin Oliver looks like Michael Moore's slightly less enormous younger brother.
