Red Riding Hood trailer

From moviesonline, I have always been a big fan of indie horror. I find indie filmmakers are more creative and willing to take more risks because they have to. Sam Raimi started out this way and many others are coming up this way. Today we have the horror Trailer for Red Riding Hood courtesy of the filmmakers.

The story follows a German teenager named Rose that comes to live with her grandmother in America. Although she is happy to see her grandmother, Rose hates her new life: she misses her friends back in Germany and she is teased and ridiculed by the other students at school.

Rose can only find comfort in her tattered book of fairy tales until she meets and develops a crush on Nick, the most popular guy at school, and is befriended by Summer, a beautiful sexy coed. But things become complicated as Rose is tormented by Nick’s girlfriend Bridgette and the once quiet town of Hinsdale finds itself rattled by a series of gruesome, mysterious murders.

I've never been able to watch a movie shot on video. It just looks too fake for some reason. I can never buy into the reality of what I'm seeing because I'm too distracted by the look. This is one of many reasons that I've never been able to watch a soap opera.

I thought it looked pretty cool. Plus that kid in the glasses totally looks like JSP!

You're a liar JPX. You've seen Blair Witch Project, Cannibal Holocaust and Diary of the Dead.

Dammit, I'm dying to see the guy who looks like me. I assume he's quite the handsome fella?

Those movies were about shooting stuff on video but the movies were still shot on film.

He's in the beginning JSP - when she's at the school. Nice dress code at that school, by the way.

That guy doesn't look like Johnny Sweatpants, he IS Johnny Sweatpants.

JPX: The original The Eye was shot on video, foo! We just couldn't tell in 2003 because of the mid-level quality of that VCD you got on ebay.

It would be interesting to watch The Eye on DVD, I've only seen it on vcd. Wasn't JUON better on vcd than dvd?
