I am sooooo jealous. I still think the best legacy would be to invent a word that became part of everyday language, but this comes in a close second.

So cool, but I wish they had posted a picture of the spider.

I'm on a work-related Ira Levin kick, so I got down my old original 1972 hardcover of The Stepford Wives and read it last night. (It's only like 145 pages long.)

Anyway Random House says this on the flap:

"It is one of those rare novels whose very title may become part of our vocabulary."

Score! That's got to feel great; both doing it, and getting it right beforehand like that. It's like when Steve Jobs actually holds up a machine and says, in so many words, "this device will change the industry," and then it actually does.

When we finally meet, it'll be like McClane and Al at the end of Die Hard!
