October's coming

...and that means Horrorthon, obviously. If Horrorthon were a slightly bigger deal, there could be a series of Horrorthon t-shirts with evocative horror-movie quotations on them (on the opposite side from the logo), like this:

"THEY'RE COMING TO GET YOU, BARBARA"

"SEVEN DAYS"

"WE ALL GO A LITTLE MAD SOMETIMES"

"HERE'S JOHHNY"

These are pretty obvious (if anyone wants to screw around naming the movies). What would be some other good ones?

One, two, Freddy's coming for you. / Three, four, better lock your door. / Five, six, grab your crucifix. / Seven, eight, better stay awake. / Nine, ten, never sleep again.

so far no word from pants on whether or not there will be shirts this time around. i have both last year's and the year before as well as the awesome gretchen mug.

i'd like to keep up with the Thon mix idea from last year -- i attempted to elicit suggestions from octo and pants, but have not gotten a response.

if any of you have any suggestions i'm definitely open to them, and perhaps a disc in hand might convince pants to step it up and make with the artwork.

i'm assuming you've all got my email buried in your accounts somewhere, but if not, chances are you've got octo's and you can get mine through him.

50, Pants experienced a major computer crash earlier this week and its unlikely that he's going to be able to do any shirts for Horrorthon. I asked Octo a while back but he appeared to be too busy. If you want to make one, by all means go for it! I would recommend not putting a date on it lest it become dated quickly.

PS. Horrorthon!
