Gary Coleman Dead at 42

From LATimes.com

Gary Coleman, who soared to fame in the late 1970s as the child star of the hit sitcom "Diff'rent Strokes" and whose post-TV-series life included a stint as a shopping mall security guard and an unlikely run for California governor, died Friday. He was 42.

The diminutive Coleman, whose adult height was 4 feet 8 inches, died at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage earlier this week, according to a statement from hospital spokeswoman Janet Frank.

I've been following this. He fell into a coma yesterday and it didn't sound good. He led a tragic life.

I read something today or last night and his rep had a statement that sounded a lot like something you'd say after someone dies. Something like "he has always remembered fondly his days on TV and thanks his fans" or some such. I'm not saying GC was already dead at that point but yeah, it didn't sound good.

Poor dude. I felt really sorry for him during that whole awful marriage. No sex, no friends, no money, and, I imagine, tons of rage. Terrible.

What exactly happened, did he fall and hit his head?

He has a history of seizures. They are reporting that he hit his head. I'm speculating that he had a seizure.
