Get ready for Hostel III

From worstpreviews, Bloody-Disgusting has learned that Sony Stage 6, the company behind the direct-to-DVD "30 Days of Night" sequel, is getting ready to shoot the third installment in the "Hostel" franchise in August.

Scott Spiegel (From Dusk Till Dawn 2) will be directing and Michael Weiss (Journey to the Center of the Earth) wrote the script, which will take the action to Las Vegas where a bachelor party goes horribly wrong. Eli Roth, who directed the first two films, will return to produce.

The first "Hostel" film, released back in 2006, grossed over $80 million on just a $4.8 million budget. The sequel, which cost $10 million, ended up taking only $35 million.

When I read "... where a bachelor party goes horribly wrong" I immediately imagined someone reading that and thinking it was a hilarious comedy, and then I hoped that someone actually makes that mistake and doesn't discover it until they're already watching the movie. Psych!
