Hump Day Poem Contest: Siblings!
It's Wednesday already, so the contest is open to any form of poem about your own siblings, or someone else's; real or fictional; celebrity or regular people. Looking forward to some juicy entries!
Growing up my sister was like a gag candy all sweet and butterscotch on the outside filled with a nasty fishy center that made you want to puke I never got the butterscotch, just the fish
Brothers they can be a pain they were borderline insane getting worms for birthday gifts using siblings as weights to lift Saturday morn after cartoons came those wrestling buffoons my brothers they'd get all wound up and slam my ass into a pulp when I reached my teenage years they scared my boyfriends with evil jeers but there were time when it was good if needed to protect they would with wrestling skills a face they'd crack whomever dared talk behind my back Both towered over six feet four their masses barely fit through the door a fearsome duo if I do say but now they are both old and gray I feel for the only child whose was always meek and mild they'll never know the siblings bind and drive each other out of their mind

my sibs are both quite talented
in all the ways i'm not
they sing and act and play guitar
both give it all they've got
of all the talents plentiful
what brings the most elation?
my brother's scary accurate
chris walken imitation
Brother taught me well
KISS, Dawn of the Dead, Star Wars
The good things in life
Growing up my sister was like a gag candy
all sweet and butterscotch on the outside
filled with a nasty fishy center that made you want to puke
I never got the butterscotch, just the fish
Brothers they can be a pain
they were borderline insane
getting worms for birthday gifts
using siblings as weights to lift
Saturday morn after cartoons
came those wrestling buffoons
my brothers they'd get all wound up
and slam my ass into a pulp
when I reached my teenage years
they scared my boyfriends with evil jeers
but there were time when it was good
if needed to protect they would
with wrestling skills a face they'd crack
whomever dared talk behind my back
Both towered over six feet four
their masses barely fit through the door
a fearsome duo if I do say
but now they are both old and gray
I feel for the only child
whose was always meek and mild
they'll never know the siblings bind
and drive each other out of their mind
Little bro beat me
At every vid. and board game
Now I just don't try
He'd gloat when he won
He was vicious when he lost
Claims that I cheated
Whirly is the same
She beats me at everything
I think she must cheat
JPX promised
To take me to buy comics
I was 8 years old
Then I was yelled at
Thrown out in utter disgrace
T'was a porno shop
I fell for it twice
Porno guy was not amused
But JPX was
After doling the Titans some hurt
Three brothers rolled dice for the worlt
The sky Zeus's wish
Poseidon got fish
And Hades got stuck in the dirt
from my older bro
most powerful lesson learned
belch is the worst smell
Believe it or not
Patient belched in my office
Smelled like pastrami*
*this happened today
thought I'd get some dirt
read my sister's diary
she was really lame
worst thing she had done
snuck a sip of someone's wine
I told ya real lame
from that day forward
I dubbed her Mary Poppins
name sticks to this day
Bigger is better
Won 13-year wrestling match
Then he got tall
Tormented brother
Physically harmed at each turn
Growth spurt...My new friend.
She kissed her brother
He said she was beautiful
