I don't see anything in those pix that indicates other than "suck."
Except that Thing/Bear fight. I hope he twirls the bear around by its tail.
They'd better not have harmed that animal!
Seriously, the idea of the Thing killing a bear is repellent. I hope that's not actually in the movie.
I'm sure it's comic relief. He growls back at the bear and it yelps and scampers off or some such horse-hocky.
