Berman, who succeeded Gene Roddenberry as executive producer on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," went on to produce "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Star Trek: Voyager," and "Star Trek: Enterprise," as well as four Star Trek theatrical motion pictures. The interview was conducted in December 2006, just before he vacated his offices at Paramount after 22 years.
"I have started writing a book because I realized that in 1986, when Gene Roddenberry asked me to get involved in work with him on this thing, the number of stories that I have accumulated is amazing." he said.

According to Berman, the book, which is still untitled and does not yet have a publisher, will be a "warts and all" type of book, but it would also focus on all the "wonderful and bizarre and funny things" that happened while he worked with the Star Trek franchise. He is currently seeking out others who worked on the shows to help recall the Star Trek years.
He also talked about other projects he is working on now that JJ Abrams is helming the next Star Trek movie. Details and the full interview appear in the current Star Trek Magazine.

Nice pic! That's that ridiculous hawk dude from the abysmal last season of the abysmal Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.
Berman's book sounds like it's going to be as tasty as Barry Williams's book about the Brady Bunch set, in which far too much was made of Barry's date with Florence Henderson which, while slightly sick and twisted, sounded pretty G-rated.
I bet all the stories will be about Berman and Wesley going out for root beer and getting silly.
