Are any of these worth checking out come October?
Oh yeah! The films themselves are not anything to brag about but they deaths are great. At one point people involved in the X-Files worked on some of the films and they created some very unique and surprising deaths. The opening scene for each of the films are also terrific.
The first one is enjoyable enough although Pacey's in it. The second one has an excellent & terrifying opening sequence followed by 90 minutes of suck. The third one is just plain terrible beginning to end.
