Contraversial texting PSA

I've seen this before, very intense.

It's an old discussion topic: PSAs designed to scare you that are, well, actually scary.

I've had great reminiscences about these with many friends over the years. It's like discussing great Twilight Zone episodes (not to besmirch the seriousness of the "Ad Council" classics). The one where the drug dealer turns into a monster while walking behind posts is almost a direct Twilight Zone steal ("The Howling Man"). The "drunk driving" ones where we see two hands with drinks toasting, but one hand is skeletal; the AIDS awareness ads on rooftops...all making excellent virtuous use of the very same horror movie techniques that this site is devoted to.

Yeah, and Blood on the Highway, that driver's ed classic.

That scared the pee out of me.

I've heard about "Blood on the Highway" my whole life and I was so disappointed that it was never shown when I took driving lessons. I bet YouTube has it...

You should search it JPX it's classic.

I took Driver's Ed in the summertime and was denied access to all that good stuff.

This piece was intense but unevenly paced. All the exciting stuff happens in the first minute! I thought maybe it would bookend with the two helicopter pilots texting each other, but I was disappointed again.

I think the last shot should've been a funeral.
