Movies on the Block unveils summer schedule!
What is Movies on the Block, you ask? Each year a number of classic movies ("classic" is debatable) are shown for free in Providence on the side of a building. Whirlygirl and I have been going to these movies for the past few years and it's a blast! We watched Star Wars and American Graffiti last year among others. We bring a cooler of booze, large bags of popcorn and lawn chairs. I highly recommend that local Horrorthonners join us for some of these this year.

could someone with power please boost "finish it friday" up top? thanks!
Sweet! Would love to try to make a couple this year.
If I had to pick one of those movies I think I'd go with For Your Eyes Only (and then Cannonball Run).
ouch, just saw they're thursday nights... a leetle challenging for the boston contingent. that said, of those movies i'd be most into the sting, north by northwest, and ferris (i love butch and sundance, but i don't want the other thonners to see me tear up at the end).
Tony and I will probably be up for a couple of them depending on his schedule. Maybe History of the World or North by Northwest.
It's awesome what a cool city Providence has become.
