New pics from The Omen remake

From Moviesonline, "Fear the date – 6/6/06 – when "The Omen" opens in theaters nationwide. A remake of the 1976 horror classic, the new film takes the tale of the coming of the antichrist – personified as a young boy named Damien – to an even more thrilling and visceral level. John Moore ("Behind Enemy Lines", "Flight of the Phoenix") is directing this remake to the 1976 genre classic directed by Richard Donner. The script, that contemporizes the tale, is written by Dan McDermott.

The prophecy is clear, the signs unmistakable: Armageddon is upon us. On 6/6/06, the omen is revealed...and our darkest fears are realized. "The Omen," a contemporary thriller based on the 1976 classic film, centers around a young boy named Damien, the son of an American diplomat and his wife. Damien's family is unaware he is destined to become the Anti-Christ – until shattering events reveal the terrifying truth."

There's two pics of the kid with the IV, and while this one looks like a dream-type sequence, the other one doesn't. Making him a sickly kid with an IV is a nice touch. Plus that thing in the hood. Another nice touch.

On April 5th of this year I got all excited about how the date was 4-5-6. So I'm admittedly into the fact that it's actually 6-6-6 this year, and not like June 6, 1966 like in Rosemary's Baby.

Wait, that's four sixes.

The Omen people still have a way to go, though.
