From Thehorrorchannel, "Just a week or so back I brought you a story about a new Thai nature gone amok flick called Boa that boasts some of the best poster artwork I've seen in years. Today Twitch Film posted the first Boa trailer. For those curious what Boa is about, it’s unlucky people stranded in the jungles of Thailand where a big ass snake attempts to eat them all. What the hell do you mean you want to know the plot? Admittedly, the special effects are only slightly better than your typical Sci-Fi Channel original movie at times, but how many of those films or any of the Anaconda films had a snake taking down a helicopter? This snake looks more likely to take down the plane than slither amok on it.
Note: The trailer is in DAT format. I’ve never heard of DAT format until today, but it’s a VCD encoded file that plays just fine on Windows Media Player.
What are you waiting for? Boa’s trailer demands a viewing! Click here to check it out!"

Well, that is a darn big snake, and those are some crappy special effects. Makes me wonder if the FX in the Anaconda sequel had any game. These were about on par with the first one.
They sure took the punch out of their ending stinger: it's the couple on the dock, and she softly leans into her man's shoulder as we see a lurking shadow through the boards beneath them. Except 15 seconds earlier they showed us the subsequent scene with the big snake popping out and surprising them, so big honking deal.
Aw come on, man, it's all about that poster!
