There's also a chance I may play the Wolfman in London in a movie with Benicio Del Toro," said Hopkins. "My agent says it's a great script but he hasn't sent it to me yet."
Hopkins indicated that this is purely a matter of studio negotiations. He wants the role. "He said he just wants to make sure that the deal is all in but I play the Wolfman's father in Paris. A wonderful part."
It may be perfect for Hopkins, who is known to bark on the set in between takes. "Yeah, I bark. Yeah, it's just for fun, just to keep everyone happy because it gets pretty intense sometimes. People get too serious. It's only a movie. It's not the end of the world. So I bark like a dog just to entertain people. People say, 'What's that? There's a dog in here.'"

That's nice that Hopkins barks like a dog to loosen the mood on set, but I don't think I'd find that very soothing if I were there. I think I'd take my lunch outside and expect everyone else to be strung up like bloody Jesuses when I got back.
