Battlestar Galactica news

[Possible minor spoilers]

From syfyportal, "A new character will be introduced as part of the ragtag fleet when "Battlestar Galactica" returns to the SciFi Channel in January, but it's possible fans will get an early introduction come this fall.

The character of Kendra Taggert, a major once stationed on the Battlestar Pegasus, will be a part of the fourth season premiere in January, a two-part episode tentatively titled "Razor," according to the FilmJerk Web site. As if Starbuck wasn't enough, Taggert had become a little loopy in the head after the initial Cylon attack. She apparently got her posting initially on the Pegasus by her mother, who was a Quorum of Twelve delegate.
There is no word on who has been cast to play the character, who is described as being a woman in her late 20s.

It is unclear if Taggert also will be included in the Battlestar Pegasus telemovie being planned for the fall on both SciFi Channel, and instant DVD release. Producers for "Galactica" have said that while the telemovie storyline would not necessary continue the current storyline from Season 3 to Season 4, showrunners have stated in the past that there will be some elements in the telemovie that will play into the first part of the fourth season when it debuts at the beginning of 2008.

FilmJerk also says to expect more flashbacks this season as well, especially of a much younger Adm. Adama (expected to be sans moustache and most likely being played by a younger actor).
Production on the main part of the fourth season is expected to begin next week."

I'd sooo much rather have a monkey than a robot dog. Robot dogs can't throw their poo.
