From moviesonline, Irvine Welsh revealed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival that he is writing a prequel to the original novel and also planning a sequel to the movie. Acccording to the Scotsman Ewan McGregor will not reprise his role since he is not at all a fan of the books sequel named PORNO.
