Zombie 5: Killing Birds
(1987) *
Years ago, a vietnam vet murdered his wife, her lover, her parents and her bird. Years later, a group of goofy teenagers are researching woodpeckers in the very spot where the massacre took place. They are greeted by a strange man with one eye and a slew of rabid birds. When this plot didn't seem to go anywhere, the directors made a last ditch effort to inexplicably turn it into a zombie flick. Killing Birds is an unspeakably awful film that looks like it was made up as they went along. One of my horror pet peeves is when the car won't start at the worst possible time. This is the first time I've seen that crap used twice in one movie! Great cover art though...

You said you weren't going to watch Z5 when you reviewed Z4, and then you did. Good for you! That's taking one for the Horrorthon team.
