Ah yes, I remember watching that scene with about a dozen other college kids in the ratty basement "lounge" of our building. Television felt like a whole new ballgame all of a sudden.
Damn, that totally holds up! The thing that's unique about Twin Peaks, aside from the fact that there's never been a television show as good ever again, is that it's the only time I've ever been scared watching TV.
