From Cinemablend, Last week here we told you that Terminator 4 was moving again. The Halcyon Company bought the rights to the franchise, and they’re pushing ahead with another sequel to the film. I think nearly everyone assumed that Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be involved in it. Not because it will suck, but because he’s getting old, and much too busy with politics to be making movies.Well, the gossip section for the Post Chronicle says Arnold Schwarzenegger will be in Terminator 4, or at least something that looks like him will be. It seems Arnie has given Halcyon permission to use his likeness in the movie. That could mean we’ll see a cgi version of The Terminator, sporting a computer generated version of Arnold’s face. Or it could mean that John Connor will have a picture of his beloved Terminator buddy up somewhere on his mantle.

I doubt John Connor will have a pic of his Terminator buddy on the mantle since that same likeness is out in the wasteland mowing down his friends. But, if they’re going to do this, a few Arnolds in the background will keep the continuity clean.
I wonder how the future robot war thing will play now that we’ve had the Matrix. The evolution of the animal-like Machines was so much richer than those of the Terminator universe.
I guess those endoskeletons will always be cool, though.
