It's going to be good even though he's responsible for the worst part of Grindhouse.
I'd use the words "least good" instead of "worst," which is of course the same exact thing minus the emotional tone of "worst."
But yeah, his was the only segment that ever looked too cheap.
And screwed up the tone by thowing the famous actors names at us.
I read a great bit on Wikipedia about how each trailer was made. The sublime Don't trailer is supposed to be an American re-release of a cheapo, British "Hammer films" movie, which is why you never hear the actors speak -- they're British! (And the grindhouse audience isn't supposed to find this out until they've paid their $2 admission.)
Thanksgiving is the movie that the grindhouse guys (the real ones) said "they kept waiting for" after all the post-Halloween stuff was coming out. It never happened, so they did it themselves.
I'd use the words "least good" instead of "worst,"
I agree, I still thought it was fun and in the spirit of Grindhouse.
Okay, fine; it's all good. Sorry for using a negative word while discussing Grindhouse.
Sheesh.
"Sheesh"
What is it with the inflamatory language today? Golly willakers!
Good point about the famous actors, and I didn't know that detail about Don't, that's great!
