Jesus, I want to buy it twice. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
They had me at "removing the wire from the spinner," back two years ago when I first heard of this.

Me too! That's ALWAYS bothered me. Octopunk had a Spinner toy, which he ruined.
'Scuse me? I contend they ruined the toy by putting the die-cast mandibles or whatever those things are up in "street" position. (I know that makes no sense, so click here to see what I'm talking about. Notice also the horrifying amount of visible Spinner cable in the screenshot.
So yes, I removed the Spinner's wheels so I could surgify those mandible wheel-cover things and put them right. Those Spinners are in my "toys to fix (alter)" box at my house. When I get around to it, you're totally going to be jealous.
That toy is so far away from the actual Syd Mead vehicle design in the movie that you get points for even seeing a way to fix it. Seriously.
Thanks.
I'm still going to leave the big "Blade Runner" painted on there, with the little running Deckard.
"Who's this little guy on your car? Is that you?
Time to die."
