From bloodydisgusting, Today the first official stills were posted online from Lionsgate's Saw V (trailer), which arrives in theaters October 24th. In the fifth installment of the popular SAW franchise, Hoffman is seemingly the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy. But when his secret is threatened, Hoffman must go on the hunt to eliminate all loose ends. Read on for the pics and start throwing around some theories about the latest puzzle.

Meh.
The dude with the box on his head looks kind of funny. I'm sure it's not so funny, but it reminds me of the frankly hilarious death by TV in Mother's Day (in which the bad guy's head is punched through the bottom of the TV set, so his face is visible pressed up against the back of the screen -- hilarious!).
I still maintain that the SAW series, while gross, is a well-written series with excellent twists. Count me in!
