Favorite panel
There are so many candidates...but this is probably my favorite panel from "Starchie." Mainly because you get to work your way through the whole "Betty and Veronica look alike" joke in all its elaborate detail, and think you're done with the panel...and then Bottleneck punches that kid in the face as they walk past.

I must say that I love the artwork. I wish Archie Comics put that much detail into their panels.
Bill Elder was a genius.
He died in 2008, damn it!
Heh. When I first read the Starchie comic I noticed the kid Bottleneck is punching, but I only just now noticed the previous punch victims knocked to the floor, rubbing their honkers.
I couldn't figure out what the gag with Bottleneck's shirt letters was about. (Here it's just an S, but in another panel there are also some smaller letters.)
Something weird's going on with all the shirt letter stuff.
