Tron Legacy Viral Has Huge Event Planned in San Francisco today

From cinemablend, Back at the end of February, screenings of the first trailer for Tron Legacy were held in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and Sydney as part of their viral campaign. Since then the Flynn Lives movement has been kept somewhat small, launching the ENCOM International website and allowing fans to create their own ENCOM badges to breach the firewall and enter their employee intranet. Now, the next big event is set to go off, but unless you live in the Bay Area or are on your way to WonderCon right now, you're kind of screwed.

The Flynn Lives website has put Operation Tron into effect and will culminate with a mass gathering at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Embarcadero Center, San Francisco tomorrow night starting at 6:30 PM. The first 40 minutes will be dedicated to a pre-meeting followed by a press conference at 8 PM. Shirts and posters will be given out while supplies last and they encourage you to bring your ENCOM badge if you have it. The best part about it? Bruce Boxleitner will be present at the press conference in character as Alan Bradley.

As for the rest of us who aren't in the area/don't have the money to shell out for a plane ticket, this will undoubtedly lead to more Tron stuff emerging in the next couple of days, so keep your eyes sharp and stay vigilant. Perhaps someday they may actually come to a location near you.
