Horrorthon blues

1) I want everyone who hasn't already to go pay lots of attention to my two posts from over the weekend, about the maze in The Shining (and my Avatar post with the two and a half minute clip from the movie, showing That Big Thing Back There).

2) I really don't want to not look at the girl with the grotesque lips any more. Can we take that down? Pretty please? (Or, "ugly please" as the case may be?)

Whoah, I hadn't actually seen that picture yet. So you've been spending the weekend scrolling down looking for more comments and you've had to pass that each time?

Compromise! I re-dated it so it's below your posts. She can't hurt you any more.

(Cue Jordan sighing with relief. Then the doorbell rings... cut to Jordan's front door, where giant lipped lady waits, wrapping her lips around a big wet apple...)

I've been in the mountains of VT for the past 3 days so my only internet access has been my iPhone. I agree about the big lipped woman, she's too unpleasant to look at for this blog.

I'll check out all the maze stuff today. Truthfully I tend to shy away from commenting on things when I know I won't be able to offer anything intelligent, especially when it's clear that you guys have given this stuff a lot of thought. I get a bit intimidated by some of the more in-depth conversations that occur here.

Although Hellraiser II has it's problems, I always loved that Hell is depicted as this giant creepy maze. For this reason alone I've always dug this movie. I haven't seen it in ages and it probably doesn't hold up in terms of FX, but I recall being chilled by that maze. I also like the Cube films (not a maze, but a weird puzzle). Okay, I'm babbling.

What kind of comment was that? What an embarrassing mess! Where was your research???

Octo, take this guy around back and talk some sense into him...

I felt I had to post the big lipped lady for 2 reasons:

1. I was so appalled yet couldn't stop staring at them so I had to share.

2. The "Howard the Duck's wet dream" remark had me in stitches. She really does look like him.

Sorry to offend but after all, this is Horrorthon and she is is quite a horror.

I wasn't remotely offended in the least. I was just tired of looking at the jarring image...anyway it's all good
