Pontypool

(2008) ****

It ain't just another day in Pontypool, Ontario, when inexplicably violent and deadly events find their way to the attention of the local radio station and its new morning man, fallen star Grant Mazzy.

I'm so glad someone else watched this film, I really loved it too and cannot wait to have a discussion with you about it when we get together.

I loved this movie too! I watched this two Horrorthons ago. JPX was mad at me for not reviewing it, since apparently at the time it didn't seem to be available anywhere but my local movie store. It was soooo good...sooo effective, a nice take on the zombie genre.

Oooh, this one is in my queue! Psyched to hear it's worth it.

I think Pontypool would made a good double feature with Phoonk.

Whirlygirl has been singing the praises of this film to me for a while now, thanks for the reminded that it exists!

Pontypool sounds like a child's imaginary playland.

Not quite unlike Neverland

The word "pontypool" has no right to exist. It bothers me for some reason.
