Session 9

(2001) ****

Session 9 is of the most divisive films reviewed on the blog to date, and as it turns out I agree with the contingent who appreciate this well-acted, creepy psychological thriller set in an abandoned mental institution (Danvers State Hospital).

So glad you liked this, the only way to watch it is quietly alone or with another person. If in a group then chatter can ruin the effect.

This movie did not do it for me, I'm so divisive! But I certainly don't begrudge other views - glad you liked it!
