The Innkeepers
(2011) ****
Quirky, relatable characters and a slow build elevate this tale of the final days of the haunted-or-is-it Yankee Pedlar Inn.
AC, I think you were too generous with this one. Great characters, eerie hotel, intriguing plot, but in my opinion they blew it. Although the ending has its charms, I think it needs some work, and I really didn't like some of the things that came up that were never fully explained...seems like sloppy writing to me. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I was loving this film, and I'm disappointed that it fell short in areas.

Hmmm, interesting. I have this on my list based on Cat's review. Now there are dissenters!!
I love how bored those two look!
