From moviesonline, Unfortunately there is no commentary track on the upcoming DVD for Iron Man but that didn't stop them from doing a live action one! Yep last weekend at the Santa Monica Aero theater director Jon Favreau and surprise guest Robert Downey Jr. arrived for the very informative commentary.
The most intriguing bit of information is a bunch of hints at the upcoming Avengers and Iron Man 2. Here is what Film Crunch managed to catch, "Throughout the movie, the actor-turned-director pointed out and confirmed various scenes which hinted at both The Avengers movie (visible S.H.I.E.L.D. logos) and the sequel (he noted that the terrorist cell in the movie is merely one branch of Mandarin’s group)."
The rest of the commentary was basically more of what you would expect only they were allowed a lot more freedom to say what they want. A lot of times commentaries can be rather full because the director can not say certain things about other movies or the studio.. Not so with the live commentary. Hopefully soon we will begin to hear more word about The Avengers film and of course Iron Man 2.
