Here I am, age 7 (?) preparing for a night of saving dames and loading up on sugary joy. I have no idea where this picture was taken but I want to make it clear that my family did not own any sad clown pictures.
Why wouldn't I wear a blue long-sleeved shirt underneath? Sigh.

I know I have told this before - but when I was a kid I claimed Halloween as one of my favorite holidays because I "loved dressing up and loved candy."
