i wouldn't worry about rocco. he doesn't have any eyes.
LOL.
He's just standing in the shadows.
By the way, did you catch the end of the other thread, where I answered your Manchurian Candidate question?
Ah, I now see that you did. (I had to go look at the Halloween 07 post...which I just added a comment to. Musical chairs...)
Damn, Jordan, I want to frame your stuff.
this is another entry in "fast as you can, straight to ink, no redrawing, don't think." I wish there was a way to make that not rhyme.
Whilrygirl and I were antiquing last weekend and we found some really cool original 1960s fashion drawings. One was a series of heads floating on a white background no doubt used to illustrate different hair styles. Whirly was smitten but the asking price was $140 so she passed for now.
For my birthday she gave me an original vintage drawing of a woman wearing a bikini - it was probably used in a magazine. Very cool.
If these are your "sketches" I can't imagine what your regular drawing must look like. Your "fast as you can straight to ink" drawings remind me that I have zero talent. Thanks, buddy!
"Fast as I can" isn't necessarily that fast! It's not like that crazy dude painting on TV or anything. The point is more about committing to the first idea you get and not worrying about it, which leads to some crazy free-association (and constantly worrying that I'm accidentally ripping something else off).
Perhaps, but either way your end result is just fucking awesome. If you lived around here I'd frame one of your "fast" drawings for my house.
Fabulous!
